An accomplished public affairs consultant and communications strategist, Alexandra Sollberger specializes in media training and engagement, crisis communications, message and content development, and grassroots coalition building. Her strengths lie in an extensive network of national, regional and trade publication media contacts; a diverse portfolio of policy expertise; and strong relationships with leaders in Washington, D.C.

Most recently, Alex was a vice president at a top-ranked, bipartisan public relations and lobbying firm in Washington, D.C., where she provided invaluable strategic counsel to a variety of clients, including education nonprofits and postsecondary institutions, Fortune 500 companies and tech firms, trade associations and coalitions, and financial services institutions.

Previously, Alex served as communications director for the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce. As a senior adviser to Chairman John Kline (R-MN), she was instrumental in developing and implementing communications plans to usher major legislation through Congress and into law, including bills to rewrite K-12 education law, enhance job-training programs and strengthen the federal student loan system.

Alex also worked closely with Republican leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives, helping to revitalize digital media efforts, design award-winning congressional websites, and direct the creative use of social media and infographics. A recognized and respected expert, she has conducted media training and writing seminars for federal lawmakers and staff, as well as top CEOs and company presidents. She also served as communications director for the U.S. House Committee on Small Business and former Congressman Geoff Davis (R-KY).
